Emmett's Cafe

Emmett’s is my go to when wanting to eat and have a good matcha! This location is my favorite. They have a lot of gluten free options as well

We ordered TK sandwich and the Lox burger. Both were really delicious and tasty. Latte was ok but it did not have the kick I expected. Orange juice was good. It was a bit confusing which service is provided and which we had to ask for but it’s Saturday morning and they were swamped.

This restaurant is in an old charming school building, right on the East Bank of Olentangy river, south of Dodrige on Neil. Cute place, and the food is good.

You know how you always have a place you go back to whenever you visit an old town? Emmett is the place for us. We live in North Carolina now, and we’re never we’re back in Columbus, we stop at Emmett’s. very rarely do you find a place where the food and coffee are both extremely high-quality, but this is one of those places. They always have great seasonal offerings for coffee, as well as their yearly lattes and teas are phenomenal. You can’t mess with the breakfast burrito, but every other breakfast option we’ve tried there is fantastic as well.

Love the vibe of this local cafe! Coffee service is excellent with standard drinks, plus some creative seasonal offerings. The food was excellent...our group did the breakfast burrito, tomato toast, chicken sandwich...all were fresh and delicious with great seasoning. Staff graciously answered all our questions, made great suggestions and were very friendly. Absolutely coming back!

Coffee only review here (I’m vegan & don’t often grab food). Consistently delicious menu, w/ talented baristas & kind service! Have enjoyed everything from drip to cold brew to straight espresso to milk-based drinks. Lately loving the salted brown sugar + vanilla latte with oat milk for a lil treat :) Weekends are very busy here & the parking lot is cramped to navigate & gets very packed—best to plan ahead, park on the street, and please be kind & patient with the folks who are helping you. They’re managing a line to the door for hours & hours The pickup window is especially awesome when we walk over with our dog—ordering ahead for that is super helpful (expect around 30 minutes, and they will cue up your drink(s) when you arrive). I can’t say enough good things about Emmet’s on Neil Ave ! This has been my go-to breakfast/brunch spot for a while now, and every visit has been wonderful. The food is always fresh, consistent, and absolutely delicious. What really sets this place apart, though, is the service. On my last visit, there was a small mistake with my order (it happens—we’re all human!), but when I called to let them know, Rob, the manager, went above and beyond to make it right. He was kind, professional, and made sure I left completely satisfied. That kind of hospitality is rare these days, and it’s exactly why Emmet’s has earned my loyalty. Huge thank you to Rob and the whole team you guys make every visit feel special!
